Ok, I got it
Anyone who has ever visited the site of Alfenloch Collies would have seen this famous face.   J.D's face!   He is Alfenloch Moving Pictures.   James Dean is the son of OUR Ruffnecks Etched In Bronze, (bred by Ruffnecks Collies.   J.D was definitely my favorite of that litter.   Clearly the more structurally sound of them all, not to mention drop dead gorgeous.   I came to know of James Dean through his owner Christie Reimer whom I met by chance after she visited my website and found out I was very much a part of J.D's past.   Unfortunately by the time we met, J.D had already passed on, he died a tragic death from Bloat.   Despite what Diane Fitzpatrick claims   on her website, he did not die from a lack of veterinary emergency care, he died from BLOAT....which is an emergency situation. Regrettably Ms Fitzpatrick did not replace this dog even though he was sold for a show breeding prospect, and after she had been paid $2,000 for him.   Even when she became aware of his death and that he died from a bloat episode she continued to use his fathers sisters and daughter in her breeding program. She also continued and continues to use his photo's enticing breeders and others to buy puppies from her.

As a young dog, it was clear he had not even scratched the surface of his potential.   Since meeting,   Christie and I share a very strong bond.... I was grieving over the loss of his grandmother and Christie the loss of James Dean.   I can't thank God and Christie enough for coming into my life.   They say things happen for a reason......J.D and Fancy were definitely   the reason.   I am so happy to be able to place this tribute page on my site for J.D.   Although he is gone, his legacy lives on through his daughter, Alfenloch Pretty In Pictures who is in Canada, and his son Coll that is carrying the torch in the U.S and all the kids here at Ruffneck that descend from his mother.

Unfortunately James Dean was never replaced by his breeder, nor was his passing even acknowledged due to the fact he died of bloat.

Sometime later, we purchased three puppies from Alfenloch collies. All three have since been removed from our breeding program due to mange. None were replaced by their breeder Diane Fitzpatrick of Alfenloch collies. We currently have a small claims suit against this woman for taking our money, selling us sick dogs and then not giving us a refund or replacing our dogs.

J.D will NEVER be forgotten at Ruffneck.
He does live on in his beautiful children, Alfenloch Pretty In Pictures and "Coll" Maerewyn Lofty Aspirations.   "Coll" is the son of J.D ex CH Southlands Ellis Island.   Coll is co-owned with Mary Willett and Christie Reimer.
